COVER UP PROCESS

I cover up old tattoos, as well as scars or skin pigmentations

If someone comes in for a coverup, it often means they had a bad tattoo experience. Or they just have an old tattoo they want to hide. Either way, I am extra considerate in this situation, and will take customers through a more gradual process before we start tattooing. Depending on how complicated the cover-up is offcourse.

Cover-ups usually require extra understanding and control of how the tattoo ink will lay in the skin, to be able to hide an old tattoo in the long run. A good cover-up is a tattoo that doesn’t look like a coverup. There is alot of aspects and tricks that i consider when doing this. I will usually explain it in further detail during a consultation.

During a consultation i take a proper look at what is going to be covered, and then talk about the different options. I will also let you know if laser should be considered before tattooing, or not. Ask me before taking laser! You might save alot of time and pain if it wont be neccesary with one.

My main focus is that people get tattoos they are happy with. Therefore good communication and collaboration with my customers is important to me. That means that i appreciate your honesty, and wont take it personally if your not happy with my ideas! I will also let you know if you have an idea that might now work. I think honesty is important when its about making a permanent mark on your body. My job is to guide you in the direction you like, with my knowledge of tattoing in mind.

Consultations are free and non-binding, so I really suggest taking one if you are considering covering something up.
