Most importantly, eat well before the appointment, and make sure to get a good night’s sleep.

Its smart to bring snacks, and something to drink. Also some lunch if its a large project.

Wear comfortable clothes that allow me to easily access the place you are getting tattooed. Its best not to wear light-colored or expensive clothing, because there is a chance of ink splash. Im pretty good at avoiding it, but better safe than sorry.

Preperations that i advice doing for an appointment is written in more detail HERE

Infections can come from alot of places. Everything from dirty clothes/bedsheets/towels, to a dog licking your wound.

Early signs of infection is redness and soreness around the tattooed area, and an uneven scab that produces a yellow fluid.

If you have any suspicion of infection, contact me before you contact a doctor! I can evaluate if its actually an infection or not, and give you proper advice on how to deal with it.

Depends. If its a small tattoo, then its no problem. But for larger projects, its best if your friend dont stay through the whole process. I work in a studio with other tattoo artists, and it would quickly get crowded if every customer brought a friend.

Just message me before the appointment if you are not sure!

No. Due to cleanliness and sterilisation rules, you need to keep your dog at home. Unless you have a person with you that can take care of it while you get tattooed.
